Wendy Bale

Wendy Bale is a multi-disciplinary nature artist in Jamestown, New York. Her work showcases the environments found in Western New York and Pennsylvania wilds. She uses various mediums—primarily focused on drawing and sculpture— to create her pieces based on her experiences in nature.

"In my paper studio I couldn’t be without my Excel Blades Fit Grip Craft Knife. The ultra-sharp blade holds its point really well and makes smooth, clean cuts. But the best part about this precision hobby knife is the contoured rubberized grip, which allows me to cut for hours without sore hands. Although green is usually my favorite color, for this tool I always choose pink, because it is easy to find amid the chaos on my messy workbench. In the clay studio, my favorite Excel tool is the Double Ended Knife, Stylus and Embossing Tool. It's really handy to flip back and forth end-to-end to get the exact tool I need while putting details into my ceramic sculptures."

Wendy is a member of the Guild of American Papercutters and International Online Art Collective. Her work is displayed in galleries in New York, Pennsylvania and Florida.

Elizabeth Goss

I am a papercutter, illustrator, and author who creates intricate cut-paper artwork for picture books and gallery exhibitions. My work often features the plants and animals of the Pacific Northwest and is carefully crafted to inspire curiosity and quiet discovery. I use all my Excel favorites in my daily papercutting practice, but I'm especially fond of my K71. It's my go-to knife for almost everything I make.

I am a photographer by trade specializing in landscapes and Americana images. I am a Youtuber with two channels, one specializing in old vintage cars and another specializing in model railroad. I started building models and model trains as a young teenager and have been doing it even since. Building models is both exciting and rewarding; Excel tools and blades make the work even more enjoyable.
