#11 Blades

I’ve been using Excel blades for about 60 years. They get the job done.

Initially, I was looking for a replacement knife safety cap for my old craft knife. Unable to find one on Amazon, I began searching for them online and discovered Excel. I have tried many blades to do paper cutting. The Excel blades are the sharpest and strongest.

Excel blades are our brand of choice. The Excel #11 blades are our favorite for precision trimming of plastics. They last longer than any other blades we have tried. The quality is very consistent.

I prefer the number eleven blades for the majority of my work but I noticed, right away , these blades are stiffer and seem to hold their edge a lot longer than the blades I have been using. Great product and the price is not much different than what I paid for the blades I used to use. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I literally love these blades. They are the most versatile, longest lasting product on the market. I can cut clean curves and tiny details in paper using these bad boys. I've used them to cut everything from intricate papercut cityscapes to lace out of tyvek. I've even used them to cut lace into paper towels and china patterns into paper plates. They are the preferred disposable blade of every knife papercutter I know- And for good reason! <3

These blades are easily the best you can get, and made in USA as well! I bought a batch of 300 blades for less than $10 on Amazon....made in China, of course. As soon as tried your blades, I tossed all the Chinese-made ones in the trash. I cut a lot of frisket paper for airbrushing so the very tip of the blades has to last--again, there's just no comparison, the tips of your blades last longer than any others without snapping off. Yours are the only blades I'll use now!

Love these blades! Ended up running out for a week or so and picked up some cheap ones at the store to fill in. Worst purchase ever. What a single blade from you does , it took 6-8 of the cheap ones! If you’re not using Excel blades you’re not getting the best experience out there!

Best blades that I use for modeling in my hobby

I have been using these products for at least twenty years. The products quality is always top of the line. I will never use the competitors product. Blade sharpness is why these products are far and above the competition.

I actually got this as a gift for a professional papercut artist (some of you probably spoke with her at the recent GAP conference, where she was on the board). She has always extolled Excel and I’m sure will be very pleased with this supply. She frequently complains that art stores don’t carry them available in standard 100 packs. She uses the other blade when she must but far prefers Excel. I have a question though: I see the blades are just lined up in the box. I had visions of hundreds of blades accidentally spilling out all over the floor. Is there a dispenser or case that people use? Or are papercutters just careful? Happy Holidays!

The Excel blades are sharper than the Xacto blades. I'm glad I eventually found out about Excel.

These are extremely nice sharp blades. They are well worth the upgrade from the traditional brand for serious hobbiests.

I just bought a 1000 pack because I go through the blades like nobody's business. Clearly I'm committed! They stay sharp way longer than anything else on the market (and I assure you I've tried them all) and the tips don't break as easily. I've saved myself a lot of wrist pain by only using Excel #11 blades. Nothing goes through paper like they do. In sort, these blades are one of the greatest loves of my life. They're basically on par with my husband, my dogs, and nachos. Really, they're that good.

Hi I just have to brag to you about your product. I’m not very happy to say this, but there was a time when I used to buy the cheapest blades on the market and searched for them by price alone. However, after and I became more professional in my leather crafting, I realized that The sharpness of an edge and the ability to retain that sharpness was far more important than a price would ever be. Luckily I came across your blades as they offered price as well as the aforementioned specialties. Everything I really ever needed, I found with Excel blades. In the photo attached you can see all of my Leather crafting tools as they look to be sparkling like diamonds. I added that effect to the photo because that’s how my tools perform and That’s all because of your sharp blades and how much Not having any mistakes really makes my professionalism shine. I no longer have to go back and re-cut my l pattern or my leather, so therefore I no longer have mistakes like before when I used those cheap inexpensive blades that didn’t last through a single cut of leather. As a papercut artist I was going through blades faster than a knife could cut through butter. Excel blades are sturdy and long lasting. The tips stay sharp and don't break off like other brands. Will definitely buy again

FAR better blade than X-Acto

Good product with a quick delivery. Our business had once purchased 2 - 100pcs boxes of blades at a very low but incorrect price, Excel was nice enough to give us a reduced price on our next purchase for our trouble. The blades themselves are quite durable and sharp and if you work in designing products for clients on a very frequent basis, you cannot afford to be constantly throwing out blades due to low quality. All that said, we will be doing business with Excel for a long time into the future.

These blades are the best! I've tried various kinds of similarly shaped X-Acto brand blades but these are way more durable. I only use them on paper but I find that I have to change the blades way less often than I did with X-Acto #11s. The tips don't snap as easily and they definitely stay sharp longer which is essential for tiny, detailed work.

Simple & clean!

I use Excel blades for all of my cut paper artwork. I started cutting with Xacto, but quickly switched to Excel after trying them. I have used in excess of 300 Excel blades to make more than 70 pieces of art, from 4x6 to 24x36. I love them!

I have been using Excel blades and other Excel products sine I started my career as an Illustrator. Although I use technology to help produce my work for the most part all my work is rendered by hand. The attached photo is of recent carvings that I couldn’t complete with the detail I wanted without the #11 blades. Excel blades are sharper than other blades I’ve used over the many years I have carved.

You know that slogan, "you've tried the rest, now try the best!" that seems to be on every pizza box? It's actually true with Excel Blades. I've used blades from big brands and generic brands, and Excel Blades are the best. In fact, they are the only ones I will use for my papercutting art. They stay sharper longer than the others and the tips are less likely to break.

Perfect blades that stay sharper longer than the Chinese blades I did use. I truly love these blades and the price I get them for. I make leather items and I need something like this I can rely on. These blades are the absolute best! The main difference between excel blades and the other well known brand is the tips of these rarely snap. Wouldn’t use anything else and recommend these to anyone wanting a decent blade..
